I love food! Yum
So I know that everyone loves food but I really really love food. I love trying new things, watching cooking shows, getting cookbooks,and of course baking! My favorite cooking tv shows are top chef, iron chef, chopped and you’ve gotta eat here which all come on foodnetwork. And it’s not like I know all the timings or that I even plan to watch them but it’s always by coincidence. Whenever I skim through all the channels it just so happens that one of those shows are on . And my mom says I’m wasting my time watching cooking shows when I should be studying or doing home work. And yes even though I dont cook all the time I love to try new things! And I’ve always had this interest in food ever since I was little because my dad is a big foodie too! And so we’ve been trying new restaurants and cafes together. But anyway… I recently went to Thierry, this little French cafe and I must say its ALWAYS crowded!! So I knew that the pastries and drinks must be fabulous and sure enough it was! So yes it was expensive but I must say those macaroons are heaven in a bite! I also went to East is East a Persian, Indian, afghani restaurant. They do have the best masala chai in Vancouver, I ordered a stuffed roti and it came with a salad and a daal soup. It was a good hearty meal and was very tasty. However since I am an Indian, I have to be honest , I prefer my mom’s food any day. But for a complete Indian/ Persian dining experience worth the price, this place is perfect from the ambiance, music, cutlery and most importantly the food.
